Increase Access to Abortion Care
Although abortion is legal and covered by the provincial and territorial health care systems, some pregnant people continue to face barriers in accessing this care. Your donation today will help us continue our work to ensure that pregnant people across Canada can access the abortion care they need. With your support, NAF Canada will work to:
- Educate and train health care professionals in providing safe, high-quality abortion care;
- Provide critical financial assistance through our Dr. Henry Morgentaler Patient Assistance Fund so that pregnant people not covered by the provincial/territorial health care system can obtain the abortion care they need; and
- Assist pregnant people with expenses related to travel when they can’t access abortion care in their home community.
